Safety First

Alcohol & Driving: Drinking and driving is strictly prohibited during runs. Violators will be asked to leave.

  • Attitude & Patience: Bring a positive attitude and work together as a group to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Member Responsibility: If you see a participant in need, stop and assist or call for help. No one gets left behind.

Vehicle & Driving Requirements

Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure your vehicle is up to date on oil changes, fluids, and tires to prevent breakdowns.

  • Safe Driving: Follow posted speed limits, drive responsibly, and respect the environment by leaving no trace. Trash bags are provided.

• • Navigation: Off-road GPS is required. Recommended apps: LeadNav, OnX Offroad, GAIA, Garmin, or Lowrance. Tutorials available upon request.

Communication & Safety Gear

Radio: A hardwired 50+ Watt VHF radio is required (Rugged Radios M1-V recommended, available in our Starter Pack).

  • Dust Lighting: Amber-colored, rear-facing dust lights are mandatory (Baja Designs, Rigid, or similar brands).

• • Fire Extinguisher: Every vehicle must carry one. Element50 extinguishers are recommended. A first-aid kit is also advised.

Recovery & Tools

Spare Tires: At least one spare is required. Two is ideal. Bring a lug key and breaker bar.

  • Jack: A Pro Eagle 3-Ton or 2-Ton jack is recommended. Lead/sweep vehicles carry one if needed.

  • Basic Tool Kit: Recommended items:

    • Tire plug kit, wrench set, pliers, vice grips

    • Breaker bar, ratchet/socket set, screwdrivers, hammer

    • Duct tape, zip ties, WD-40, and spare fluids (oil & coolant)

  • Recovery Gear: Suggested but not required:

    • Heavy-duty recovery strap, working gloves, shackles, flashlight

• • MAXTRAX or recovery boards for extra security
